A Taste of Malacca Portugese, Simply Mel's@The Sphere Bangsar South

Great interior design. The Owner emphasis on the Malacca Home concept... It like a cozy living room
 Melacca History Drawing
 Air Banding Susu
Mel's 'Devil' Curry
This really depend on individual taste bud. I found it ok not that spicy. However, my Malay friends and other colleague was sweating and smoke coming out of their mouth. My Philipino colleague totally can not have the second bite as It was too hot and spicy for him.  When Malays said is hot and spicy. believe them... It was truly spicy I like this dish
Mel's Chicken Pong Teh in a sweet and savoury bean paste. (extracted from comments paiseh i only know how to eat sometime can't remember the dishes name ^^)
This is sweet and tasty. Very suitable for those prefer less spicy servicing
 Sambal udang
The prawn sambal is Pineapple Prawn Sambal
 Stir Fried Vegetables
 Sambal Terowong? Sambal Brinjal??
This I love it too the sambal is nice. Lesss spicy that Devil curry chicken
Fried Eggs? I can't remember the name
the Omelet is Mel's Omelette with shredded crab, prawns turnip and other vegetables :)

Overall I still like the devil curry and Pong Teh Chicken.
It was really tasty. ^^  I got a chance to taste Portugese food too.
Thank you boss

  1. Hi Ler! Thanks so much for dropping by! We're so happy you had a great meal, and you're absolutely right, everyone has different tastebuds and spicy tolerance :)

I see you're having trouble remembering the names of dishes, let me help you out :) The first one is Mel's 'Devil' Curry. The Keluak Chicken is actually the Mel's Chicken Pong Teh in a sweet and savoury bean paste. The prawn sambal is Pineapple Prawn Sambal, and the Omellete is Mel's Omelette with shredded crab, prawns turnip and other vegetables :)

We look forward to having you back soon!

    Best Regards,
Aly & the Team at Simply Mel's
