Thong Yen Restaurant 唐人菜馆 @Melodies Garden, Johor Bahru

This is the second time for me to visit Thong Yen Restaurant. 
Today,  we are eating in the guest room. The room is equipped with television and sound system. There are fan and air conditioner in the room too. Kim Tan can't help admiring the chandelier.

 Cute rabbit culinary set. 

Cold Dish 冷盘
 This is frozen pig ear, pig meat and some duck wing. 

I have the chance to talk to the main chef, Sam. He mentioned the pork and duck wing is stew in special wild boar sauce. Then it was frozen in the fridge for 24 hours. Thus, it is eaten cold. Each slices tasted like jelly. The dark sauce is a bit salty. Spicy powder added the extra favor to it.

Golden Pork Rib 
The best dish among all the dishes. The pork rib is slightly fried. the meat juice is still in it. The butter sauce is really yummy.

Slightly fried pork rib is evenly coated with salted egg butter sauce. It tastes so good.

 Stir Fried Green Dragon Vegetable with Garlic
This is my first time eating this vegetable. It is very crunchy. May be due to the garlic. I was chocked by the pungent smell.

Fried Pea Shoots (豆苗) With clamp 

Teow Chew Style Steam Fish 
Fish is steamed to the right moment. It is very tender soft.

Mango Snow Ice Dessert
