That is how we started. On December 2013, six of us from Butterfly Project Malaysia attended TGV IMAX event. Next, I realized some thing.

I have been blogging since year 2009. At first, I just blogged for fun. I was just looking for a tool to teach my students on web development. Addition to it, I love traveling. I need a platform to share my travel experience and keep track of my travel expenditure. Slowly, this become my hobby. Not many friends around me do blogging. When I ask my friends the reasons, they often said "No Time", "No good in writing" or "why leh?" I felt a bit lonely. Although there are many other bloggers in Malaysia, I not sure how to make friends with them. 

The TGV IMAX event and Butterfly Project Malaysia were like the light for me. They shone me other bloggers around my area too. Since then, we became great friends in the road of blogging.

I am very grateful to make friends with all this wonderful and inspiring bloggers. We come from all walk of life. Our writing style are different. That make some people curious about us. I still remember a conversation with Hacker Space Johor Bahru's founders, Mr. Teng.

LerLer :    Yes
Mr. Teng: Most of you blog the same thing?
LerLer :     Yes. When we get invitation, we will extend to other interested bloggers.
Mr. Teng : Hmm interesting. For me, all of you are competitors to each other. And yet, you unified and formed alliance.
LerLer:     Well. We share information and help each other on writing. Is it that better?

We may be just small characters in this mass market. I am still grateful to gain guideance from each other. By the way, I also got to learn some photography tips from Tony Johor Kaki and Jason Lee. Not to forget, wonderful story teller, Ms. Peggy Loh gave us advice on writing good article.

Seeties Private Villa Treat Campaign

I was very curious with the function of Seeties.  At first I though it is like Twitter. After using it, it prove me wrong.

Seeties allows me:

GE13 - My first time vote experience

Before GE13,  the battle of 2 main parties was so intense online and offline. The war even spread into my family.

Based on the way both parties promote their manifesto, dad and I agreed that the former ruling parties had higher chance of wining.   Social media can only influence those have internet access. Rural area folks still rely on traditional media.

However, my mum strongly disagree. She been argued with us on the issues. She wanted us to be more optimistic on PR. The fight did not continue. Just on and off, mum kept remind us the latest ways of voting.

5 May 2013 Sunday
The awaited day.
5.00am wake up to do my assignments
7.30am ready to go to polling centre but my family members still asleep
8.00am we have a great breakfast time while watching news
9.30am my parents finally decided to depart to polling centre. The reason is too many people queue
             up in the morning
9.45am registered at polling station and walk to our assigned room. My assigned room is the longest
             one queue
10.30am my turn to vote in the room. Bag was instructed to left at the floor with SPR. tissues was
               asked to throw away. After voting, I realised my finger was nicely coloured front and back
               compared to other rooms' voters.
11.00am we accompany dad to another polling center. He took only 15 minutes to vote. Not much
               people there
12.00noon we went touring around Gelang Patah area to have the first hand experience of the "hot"
                   zone. I saw a lot of BN cars fetching voters
1.00pm reach home and have lunch
2.00pm do assignments
5.00pm sat in front of TV watching GE13 news
6.00pm ate dinner in front of TV
7.00pm kept looking at facebook app on GE13 news
8.00pm sleep due to toothache
11.00pm wake up to catch up on news.Internet speed was terrible.
12.00am The result is terrible slow so go back to sleep

4.00am wake up to watch news. BN won 133 seats while PR won 89 seats.
8.30am reach company. The whole company kept discuss on GE13.
9.00am noticed that Facebook have a lots of black profiles.
12.00noon Facebook keep poping  the word "don't lost hope"

I love Malaysia. However, I am speechless the way Election Commision conduct GE13.

7.30am Depart to Batu Caves
8.00am  was confused with the Batu Caves signboard and entrance but finally successfully reach. pay RM2 for parking fee
8.30am start climbing the 200++ staircases.
9.30am go Jalan Genting Klang for Breakfast
10.00am Found a great shop that serve very big portion of noodles while price is still cheap
10.30am Reach home, take bath
12.00noon doing laundering and spring cleaning
2.00pm study for exam
5.00pm depart to KLCC
5.30pm only realise the passage way between KLCC-KLCC convention center -pavillion was closed..
6.00pm detour to Jalan Penang
6.30pm reach Pavillion KL
6.45pm meet up with friends
7.00pm searching for restaurant as Sukiyaki shabu shabu was packed with people
7.30pm having dinner with 8 friends in Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant
9.30pm leaving to KLCC LRT station
10.00pm finally reach LRT station after through a big crowd.
10.30pm reach home
11.00pm sleep


...Pretty normal day... nothing really special happen on the last day of year 2012.

Disney Land Theme Park is every kid  dream. That was my dream when I  was a kid. I grow up watching Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. The beautiful Disney land castle always enchanted me. I will imagine myself playing with Mickey Mouse or other Disney Princess in the elegant castle.

What else should we ask for to fulfill our inner kid's dream?

This remind me of a joke I saw on Facebook previously. We used to pray before eating but now a day we take photo before we eat. I used to take photo before I eat. 2 August 2012

7.15pm
Reach home. I was shocked to see the house gate, iron grill door and sliding door was left open. There was an red umbrella left there too. My first instinct was my house been break in... I look up there was light on third floor. Fear that the thief is still inside. I anxiously called my house mates and bf.

7.30pm
I was holding tightly to a broom waiting at the car pouch. My boyfriend reached here. Since he been a guy, he walked inside to investigate. When he came out of the house, he told me all the room was messy and things were gone. I immediately called 911

me: Encik, rumah saya masuk pencuri
911: ok saya akan sambung anda ke balai police
police: nama cik?
me: xxxxxx
police: tel?
me:xxx-xxxxxxxxxx
911: alamat?
me: xxxxx................
police: ok sekarang saya hantar police ke rumah anda. anda bertunggu di luar sekejap
me: terima kasih

We ask a few of our guy friends to accompany us.

8pm
One of my house mate was backed. I search on phone for the nearest police station tel. I called to the nearest one

me: encik saya telephone report rumah saya masuk pencuri pada 7.30pm. bila police sampai?
police: you call mana ini?
me: I called 911 dan dia cakap akan hantar sebentar.
police: ooh nama?
me: xxxxxxx
police: tel?
me: xxx-xxxxx

police: sekejap kami akan hantar sebentar lagi
me: the telephone hang down by police

I called the police again, asking what time they are coming? they ask me to wait inside the living hall. police will reach soon. Bf used his camera to take photos for evidence.

police: itu pencuri sudah pergi?

police: thn you kena datang balai police buat report lah. baru kami boleh hantar orang ambil photo.

9.15pm - 10.00pm
Made police report. Met investigator.Sargen asked us to go home as the CSI was on their way.

10.05pm
waited at home

11.00pm
CSI reached. He took out camera just shoot 2 photos of each room. 2 photo of the gate. 2 photo of the sliding door. No finger print was taken. The umbrella we asked him to take back since it was left by the thief.    CSI taught us how to lock the sliding door for that night. ask us to changed to the older design lock.

12am
finish cleaning the house
Rest....


Refer the story above, I do not wish to comment on the effectiveness of the police. I lost my beloved dslr canon 500d and toshiba laptop. My room's door was beyond repair.

Thank you everyone who help us during this unfortunate event and aftermath.

Despite this unfortuned event, I wish everyone can live in peace, secure and healthy. May all be well.

Daily Routine

I start off the day by doing stretching exercise on the bed. After some warm up, I  practised some yoga. During my tertiary education period, I was fortunate to learn some basic  yoga exercise. This help me to sweat out and refresh my body. Before I end the session of yoga, I will do a short meditation around 5 minutes. Calming down the mind in the morning help me focus for the rest of the day.

Weekly workout routine

1) Jogging to the nearby market to buy vegetables then walk home

2) some time go mountain climbing with boyfriends

3) help my dad do gardening if I am back in hometown

 I used to meditate by UNIMAS lake last time. It was calm and serene.

 I really like peace and calmness only mother nature can gave us.
 Hopefully I can do some yoga and meditation by the beach some day. ^^

Chinese New Year 2012

Basically this year Chinese New Year, I was a sleepy bunny. Practically every evening around 5pm, I flopped onto my bed for nap. Then nap become rest...............rest become sleep............. sleep become shut down (yes yes I am programmer so my term sound IT technically). The next morning only I wake up.

Mum was suspicious that I had unhealthy lifestyle in KL. So around 5pm she make sure I stay awake to eat dinner. 辛苦你了，妈妈。Good thing i rest enough. Bad thing i miss a lot of good movies. Especially those telecast by Mediacorp, Singapore.

Anyway, May all beings be well and healthy for this water dragon year 2012.

My First Photobook

Thanks to Groupmore and Photobook,  I got the chance to create a memorable photo book for my dear bf. (really hope he like it ^0^)   The software is easy to use and the colour of the photo are same as i shoot. I am not really pro but i love to use my dslr  to shoot and capture the best moment and scenery. Thus this book really great to keep my "master piece" in great way.

Lose count how many days and night i used to create but it really worth it. I enjoy edit and arrange the photos. Remember the time we are together, memory we been through ................ (hehehe  abit too mushy but it really feel great to do something special for your beloved one)

hahahah I not sure how many time i check photobook website to check the creation of the book. Even during delivery time  I keep pestering them to check again. Really appreciate photobook malaysia helpfulness. They understand my eagerness to see my "precious"
