This restaurant was located at a very strategic place. It is located next to lover bridge.

Fried Sotong RM12
It is very crispy. The colour was orange golden colour.

Stir Fried Spicy Lala RM12
It is a bit oily but very good taste

Steam Fish RM34
I really like the way the cook cut the fish before steam. It is so much easier that most of the bone was pull out.

Hui Lan Shan is famous for its mango desserts. I do not have the chance to taste this when i visited Hong Kong in 2011. I was great to see its branches open in Malaysia.
Mango Romance RM12.90

I got the chance to taste 3 types of desserts.
Top left: We really have no idea what is it? It does not taste like cheesecake or cream. Not really my favourite
Middle: This is like mango ice shake with glutinous ball. The combination is special as the mango shake is sweet and icy, the hard glutinous ball was too hard to chew when it mixed with ice
Top Right: Mango ice cream is the best among the dessert we order. Another things that interested me is the coconut noodle. It really taste like coconut but in noodle shape. The thickness is just nice for us to chew. I really like this bowl of dessert

mango, coconut milk with black glutinous rice RM8.90

BF have a liking of mango sticky rice after he visited Thailand. Thus, every time he saw this 3 key words, "mango", "sticky rice" and "coconut milk". He can't resist the temptation to order. The mango ice cream did go well with coconut noodle but not with coconut milk. I taste sourness when eating mango ice cream and coconut milk. the sticky rice is a bit too hard too.

Overall, the dessert was just normal and do not really give me a strong impression. The price is high may due to the supply of mango.

Yardley Pastry truly a great place for good friends to gather.
Year end, is a great time to clear annual leave. a few of my best friends decided to visit Singapore for Christmas count down. They stop over at Johor Bahru for some rest. As Yardley Pastry was quite famous online and on Facebook, we decided to high tea here.

 Chocolate Drink
Very delicious as it truly used chocolate powder not the usual Milo powder.

All the swiss rolls from yardley pastry

The waitress was quite shock when we mentioned "Please serve all the cake available in your shop".
There are 8 of us. We really want to try out all the cake there.I quite like the Japanese Blancmange series.
It is very unique. It is like a milk pudding that roll up inside a cake. Yet the pudding was not hard at all. the pudding was soft and just the right texture with the cake.

Scallion Cheese Roll was my favourite among the 13 types i had tried. It was surprised to see scallion as an ingredient in cake. Usually scallion was used as decoration on dish or soup. It really surprised us that cheese an the unique taste of scallion stand out among the swiss roll. It may be due to all the cake was quite sweet yet scallion cheese roll is unique in its way. It really give a good memory for us. Even until this day, among our friends., we still can remember scallion cheese roll taste.

CS comment is nice ambience place. The mango swiss roll was really great as if we are eating mango itself.
