MaCherie Johor Bloggers and I are invited  to try out Absolute Thai new outlet in KSL City. It is the FIRST outlet in Johor Bahru City. It is so glad to have great cuisine restaurant explore Johor market. This is not my first time eat at Absolute Thai. My previous experience can be found in Seeties.

Muay Thai Punch RM12.00
A fruit juice combination of orange, apple, pineapple and grenadine syrup

Thai Iced Coffee RM9.90
This reminds me of Kuching Teh Si Peng. This coffee has 3 different distinct colours too. If you are coffee lover, you can try this special coffee.

Thai Iced Tea RM9.00
I quite like the Thai tea. It is very different from our Cameron highland tea. The tea has a stronger taste. It wrap up my tongue instantly. While Cameron highland tea is light and mild. It is quite an interesting tea tasting moment.

Thai Mango Salad with Crispy Catfish RM15.90

Personnel from Absolute Thai, Wei Wei showed us the correct way to enjoy this dish. Crush the catfish into small pieces and serve it with mango salad. This way you can taste different texture in your mouth. First is the catfish salty crispiness Second is the bit sour crunchy mango salad.

Tom Yam Soup served in clear base or red based
for  4 persons
chicken RM38.90
seafood RM42.90

This is very spicy and fiery hot. I warned you first. If you are not used to spiciness, please avoid this dish. There are many chili padi in this soup

The red tom yam soup is a bit sweet. This is due to the fresh creamy coconut milk. It gives a different sweet, spicy, sour and hot taste.

LerLer is proud to witness Aud's first time tasting Tom Yam soup. YES, FIRST TIME taste Tom Yam soup. Her expression is just so memorable. ^^

Green Curry Chicken RM16.90
I like this dish. The curry is not  as spicy or hot as tom yam. It has lots of vegetables.

Large chuck of boneless chicken meat

Stir-fried Bean Curb with Hot Basil Leaves RM12.90

Pineapple Fried Rice with Prawns RM16.90
Delicious pineapple fried rices is served in pineapple bowl.
Absolute Thai does not recycle the pineapple bowl. All the pineapple flesh are either been cooked or make into juice.

Thai Fish Cake (4 Pieces) RM9.90

I like to eat it with Thai chili sauce. It give an extra "kick" to the taste

Sizzling Ming Prawns with Tamarind Sauce RM38.90
Edlyn like this dish. The big prawn is nicely peeled off shell. The tamarind sauce added some sour taste to it.

Mango with Sticky Rice RM11.90
The restaurant only served local grown mango. This is to ensure the freshness and juiciness of mag mango. We girls keep aiming for the mango. WeiWei teaches us the correct way to eat this dessert.

1) Cut the mango into smaller cube.
2) take some sticky rice
3) Dip it into the sweet coconut milk
4) Put in your mouth and eat it

Damn it, I miss this dessert again.

Water Chestnut in Coconut Milk Topped with Jack fruits. RM7.90

This post is a bit fiery hot. Please remember to prepare some handkerchief or tissue to wipe the sweat.
